Research Statement
The mission of the GIS Facility at the UC-Kearney Agricultural Center is to support the research of faculty using geo-spatial technologies including: geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing and GPS systems, and also to provide training in the use of those technologies. Efforts are currently underway to facilitate the implementation of these technologies over the Internet in support of several IPM projects by enabling data collected in the field to be readily reported using Internet browsing software
