Field-Level Water Management for Growers and Planners
Field-Level Water Management Tools
An existing web-based map interface that provides a variety of spatial information as well as the refined Kc’s (crop coefficients used to determine water usage). This site supports user-defined inputs including field site, soil type, crop type, irrigation method, and the typical range of evapotranspiration associated with different crop types. Users can navigate to an area of interest (county, township or field level) and use built-in query tools to retrieve a range of potential water usage based on the user-defined inputs.
This site is under development. It will be available May 1, 2012
