This newsletter is designed to address the postharvest concerns of fruit growers, packers and shippers in the San Joaquin Valley of California.

The Central Valley Postharvest Newsletter is published at least two times per year.  It currently reaches 1,647 domestic and 346 overseas growers, shippers, handlers, packers, buyers, receivers, store managers, and university personnel.  One issue emphasizes stone fruit and the other issue covers apples, kiwifruit, table grapes, persimmons, pomegranates, and Asian pears.

This newsletter is only part of an expanded effort by the Department of Pomology and the Postharvest Outreach Workgroup at the University of California, Davis to better meet the postharvest horticulture needs of the San Joaquin Valley.

Issues of the Central Valley Postharvest Newsletter are available as PDFs.  To view issues, you will need Adobe® Acrobat® Reader.  Click on the logo to download your free copy.
